I looked forward to his class every day, and I learned so much from him. The subject matter was fun to me, but I also loved the example he set. I became a teacher because I love seeing things click in the minds of my students. What is something that most people do not know about you? I didn't start distance running until college. I was on my high school track team for two years and primarily ran the 400M dash. By God's providence, I ended up eating lunch with the girls' cross country captain one day in the spring of my freshman year of college. She invited me to go running with her and the next thing I knew, I was on the cross country team. I never stopped running, and now I enjoy running with my whole family! Mr. Camry-Hoggit taught New Testament History in college. He was a great story teller and made his lessons memorable. One day, he came into class dressed like John the Baptist, sat in the back of the class and waited until someone noticed him sitting there. He taught the whole class in character, from the personal perspective of John the Baptist, and made his story come to life before our eyes.
