R.O.A.R Program

The Reaching Outstanding Academic Results (R.O.A.R.) program provides small-group language arts support for lower school students. The goal of R.O.A.R. is to address learning needs in language arts early in a student’s educational journey so they are able to achieve their best and set a strong foundation for later grades.

The program uses multi-sensory activities tailored for each group’s specific needs. Students practice foundational skills including phonemic awareness, phonics and word study, high frequency word study, reading fluency, and spelling. Time and time again, we hear about how much our students love participating in the R.O.A.R. program.

Mandy Berrell, an Orton-Gillingham trained educator, leads the R.O.A.R. program and acts as the Lower School Discovery teacher in literacy intervention. For more information on this program, please contact us.
