Eastside Christian School Athletics

Building a leagacy of excellence, discipline, and character

The Eastside Christian School athletic program focuses on helping students build physical and mental strength while investing in character development through topics like teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and fun. The program fosters an environment that guides our aspiring young adults in the process of winning against difficult odds and facing challenges with courage.

Core Values of an Eastside LION

L
LEADERSHIP
Serve like Jesus
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: who, being in very nature a God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” Philippians 2:5-7
I
INTEGRITY
Live like Jesus
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise.” Ephesians 5:15
O
OTHERS BEFORE SELF
Humble like Jesus
“Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another.” Colossians 3:12
N
NO EXCUSES
Work unto Jesus
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man.” Colossians 3:23
S
SPORTSMANSHIP
Steward the name of Jesus
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
