The Eastside Christian School athletic program focuses on helping students build physical and mental strength while investing in character development through topics like teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and fun. The program fosters an environment that guides our aspiring young adults in the process of winning against difficult odds and facing challenges with courage.
Eastside Christian School middle school athletes participate in the AA North Atlanta Metro League (NAML).

Alumni Athletic Achievements
Eastside Christian School is proud and humbled by the Lord’s blessings on so many of our former student-athletes. Here is a look at some of our former Lions and their accomplishments in their respective fields of play.
Michael Chavis was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 1st Round of the 2014 MLB Draft. In 2017, he started the season with the Salem Red Sox, Boston's High A affiliate, as their starting third baseman. Prior to joining the Salem Red Sox, he excelled in the Carolina League and was named the MVP of the Carolina League All Star Game in which he participated.
Melanie Oudin reached the 2009 U.S. Open quarterfinals and the 2009 Wimbledon Round of 16. In 2011, she won the 2011 U.S. Open mixed doubles.
Emily Sonnett is one of the top Women's Soccer players in the country. She is a member of the US Women's National Soccer Team and member of the Portland Thorns FC women's professional soccer team.
