The Kindergarten Advantage

The Kindergarten Advantage is one of the many ways Eastside Christian is set apart from other programs. By offering different learning and classroom options, with no additional cost, these unique opportunities for our youngest students provide families with the options they are looking for as their children begin their formal education.  

As you consider the school of choice for your Rising Kindergarten student, you may also be thinking about their time away from home and the expense of selecting a private school education. Eastside offers the advantage of a reasonable tuition that also allows families the ability to tailor payments to their specific household needs. Small class sizes in all of our lower school classrooms provide an opportunity for more one-on-one instruction and teaching our youngest students at a pace that benefits them the most. THE LEARNING CENTER

The Learning Center is an active learning environment utilized by our Kindergarten through first grade students. Through multi-sensory centers, students participate in one-on-one and small group learning opportunities. This is an extension of what is being taught in the classroom, and provides additional practice and reinforcement of skills as well as enrichment opportunities.

R.O.A.R. PROGRAM

Our Reaching Outstanding Academic Results (R.O.A.R.) program provides small-group language arts support for our lower school students in Kindergarten through second grade. The goal of this program is to address learning needs in language arts early in a student's educational journey so they are able to achieve their best and set a strong foundation for later grades. Students are screened often and interventional support is provided if a student demonstrates they need additional help.

Pre-First

Our pre-first classroom gives students a "gift of another year." This classroom environment offers a strategic advantage for students who could benefit from an extra year to bridge the foundations of Kindergarten to the structure of first grade. Learn more about the pre-first program here.
